Cupid Declares!

Cupid Declares!

Saint Valentine is a widely recognized Roman Saint commemerated on February 14th and associated in the High Middle Ages with a tradition of courtly love…The only thing reliably known of St. Valentine is his name and the fact he died on February 14th on Via Flaminia in North Rome…red roses just happen to be the ultimate symbol of love and passion, they can also be used to show great respect for or for those who have shown courage…a single rose shows love, a dozen shows gratitude, 25 shows congratulations, 50 shows unconditional love, 2 red roses tied together symbolizes an engagement…a bright red rose means love, burgandy means unconscious love, dark crimson is used to show mourning, a withered rose is used to show that the love is over, a rosebud symbolizes youthful love and beauty…guess if Cupid declares a Love Day via Saint Valentine…we all should listen::bring on those red roses!
